It is likely that your community has seen new faces on the streets in recent years, reflecting Ireland's growing multi-ethnic population.

It is also likely that the English proficiency of these new residents varies greatly from fluency to having little or no knowledge of the spoken or written word. You may feel that providing conversational classes in English for this new population on a voluntary basis would be very worthwhile, hasten their integration and enrich the whole community.
